The QS World University Rankings 2027 are out — and Malaysia has plenty to celebrate. Monash University (whose Malaysia campus sits in Bandar Sunway) has climbed to #31 in the world, its highest-ever position. Universiti Malaya (UM) remains the top-ranked Malaysian public university at #56, and a wave of private universities — Sunway, INTI, APU and Xiamen Malaysia among them — posted some of the biggest jumps of the year.
