The Years That Build
IGCSE-Ready Students.
Lower Secondary is where strong students are made. At GL Academy in Kuala Lumpur, we give Years 7–9 (Key Stage 3 / Forms 1–3) students a solid foundation in English, Mathematics and the Sciences — so they walk into IGCSE confident and ready.
The Bridge to Exam Success.
Lower Secondary is the bridge between primary school and the examination years. The pace steps up, subjects become more specialised, and the study habits built now decide how well students cope with IGCSE, A-Level and the IB. Gaps that open here — shaky algebra, weak scientific vocabulary, essays that never quite come together — widen under exam pressure. Strengthening the fundamentals early is far easier than repairing them in the IGCSE year.
