Select the description that best fits your child — we'll show you exactly how GL Academy supports them.
Built for International School Students
We work with children from the same schools, the same curricula, and the same pressures — so we know exactly what your child needs to succeed.
Free Placement Assessment
Every child starts with a diagnostic test. We place them accurately so they never repeat what they know or skip what they need.
Small Classes, Big Attention
Maximum 10–12 students per class. Every child speaks, writes, and gets corrected — not just the loudest ones at the front.
Joy-Centred Teaching
Children learn best when they're genuinely enjoying it. Our teachers make lessons engaging — not just exam-focused drilling.
Progress Parents Can See
Regular written reports and parent updates. You'll know exactly where your child is, what improved, and what comes next.

Rebuilding Confidence & Foundations
Struggling doesn't mean failing — it means the right support hasn't arrived yet. Most children who fall behind do so for fixable reasons: gaps in foundational knowledge, a fast-paced classroom, or a lack of confidence to ask questions. We find those gaps and close them.
What We Do
- Diagnostic assessment to find exactly where the gaps are — not just the surface symptoms
- A targeted catch-up plan, not a generic curriculum
- Small classes so every question gets answered
- Confidence-building before exam pressure
- Regular progress check-ins with parents
- Option to move to 1:1 private for faster recovery
What Parents Tell Us
- "She started asking questions again after two months."
- "He went from dreading English to looking forward to it."
- "The teacher noticed things his school hadn't caught."
- "We finally understood why she was struggling — and how to fix it."
Staying Strong, Going Deeper
Being at the right level is a great starting point — the goal now is to stay there while building the habits that make it sustainable. Children who maintain a strong level consistently through primary school are far better prepared for the demands of secondary.
What We Do
- Enrichment content that goes beyond the school syllabus
- Academic vocabulary for use across all school subjects
- Extended writing and analytical reading practice
- Maths problem solving beyond standard test questions
- Preparation for the Year 7 / secondary transition
Our Approach
- Structured classes with peers at the same level
- Term-by-term goals and parent progress reports
- Mix of consolidation and new challenge each lesson
- Critical thinking woven into every topic
Stretch, Accelerate & Explore
A curious, capable child who isn't being challenged enough will find other ways to fill the gap — and not always the ones you'd choose. We love ambitious young learners. Let us give them something genuinely stretching and build a real love of learning alongside the skills.
What We Do
- Accelerated content — up to one year ahead of grade level
- Early IGCSE subject exposure for Year 5–6 students
- Extended essay and analytical writing
- Competition Maths concepts and multi-step problem solving
- Independent research and presentation skills
Outcomes We Target
- Entering Year 7 at B1+ or B2 English level
- Confident academic writing across multiple subjects
- Strong IGCSE readiness for later years
- A genuine love of learning, not just performance
