If you need a subject not listed, contact us — we are always expanding our offering.
Global Leaders Academy prepares students for Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE), AQA, and Edexcel — the three major IGCSE examination boards. We will align your child's tuition to whichever board their school uses.
You can enrol in as many or as few subjects as you need. Many students come to Global Leaders Academy for targeted support in one or two subjects where they need extra help, while others join for a full IGCSE tuition programme across multiple subjects. We will work with you to build a schedule that fits.
The earlier, the better. Students typically sit IGCSE examinations in Year 10 or Year 11 (ages 14–16). We recommend beginning tuition at least 12–18 months before the examination sitting — giving enough time to build genuine understanding rather than rushing exam technique. That said, we also support students who join closer to their exam date with focused, targeted preparation.
Global Leaders Academy offers both group and private tuition options. Group classes are capped at a maximum of 6 students per class — small enough for every student to receive direct attention and feedback. For students who need more intensive or flexible support, private (1-to-1) sessions are also available. Speak to us about which format suits your child best.
Class acceptance at Global Leaders Academy is subject to the passing of an internal examination and rigorous assessment. This ensures that students are placed at the right level and that every class maintains the high standards our students expect. We will guide you through the assessment process at the point of enquiry.
Students receive regular internal assessments modelled on Cambridge IGCSE paper formats. Progress is tracked by subject, by topic, and by mark — so both students and parents have a clear picture of where things stand. Written progress reports are issued at regular intervals, and tutors are available to speak with parents directly at any point.
